Artist Statement

This abstract composition explores the emotional collision between restlessness and peace. The palette of muted cream, red oxide, blackened plum, and iron gray evokes a tension between warmth and coolness, symbolizing the conflict within the seed. The diagonal layout suggests motion and instability, where color densities shift from the calm quadrants of muted cream in the corners to deep red and dark plum in the center, creating areas of intensity. Broken pixels in the corner disrupt symmetry, embodying the theme of 'closed corners' and 'shatter.' This arrangement not only portrays a struggle between conflicting emotions but also maintains a sense of echo and interruption throughout the visual journey.
