Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional tension between control and surrender. It employs a palette of soft and striking colors: pale aqua and mist gray provide a serene base, while alarm red gives urgency and ink blue creates depth. The central clash happens between the dense, dark bands of ink blue and red, suggesting pressure, which interrupts the calmer outer edges. The broken pixel placements add a layer of intentional imperfection, representing disruptions in emotional control, evoking a narrative of conflict within the canvas.
