Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between tenderness and rage, utilizing a palette of saturated reds and muted blacks to represent heat and restraint. The central clash is situated in the middle, where jagged frames of red contrast against the softer lattice of pale blue, symbolizing both conflict and connection. Through intentional 'broken pixels,' the piece embodies themes of repair amidst chaos, reflecting emotions that bleed into one another, while maintaining quiet spaces amidst the intensity. The layout demonstrates a center seed of conflict surrounded by contrasting patterns, creating a dynamic balance of expression.
