Artist Statement
The emotional tone reflects a conflict between control and surrender, illustrated through a dense core of dark colors (representing pressure and containment) surrounded by softer, lighter colors (suggesting release and openness). The palette of cosmic indigo, void black, and cold gold contrasts sharply, creating a visual tension that embodies the struggle. The main collision happens in the center, where the darkest tones fight against the lighter ones, representing the overflowing pressure contained within. Broken pixels disrupt the symmetry, giving texture to the concept of imperfection in control.
