Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the heat of rage with the softness of tenderness, using a palette dominated by blacks and pale blues to balance saturation. The collision occurs diagonally, with red patches representing explosive emotion bleeding into the space of calmer colors. This reflects the tension of internal battles and external pressures, encapsulating the notion of a 'diagonal argument' not easily resolved. The layout is intentionally asymmetric, allowing for moments of quiet tension amidst vibrant outbursts.
