Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional tug of 'signal' against 'noise', with the top half representing clarity and the bottom half embodying chaos. The palette merges deep navy and black to form a dark, intimate space, while accents of dim cyan and white pierce through to symbolize fleeting signals of hope. The main collision occurs in the center rows where bright accents attempt to break through the heavy, dark tones, representing a struggle for clarity amidst chaos. The bottom flows upward suggesting an aspiration towards clarity, while the uneven distribution of colors introduces intentional disruptions, echoing the intricacies of memory and experience.
