Artist Statement
The emotional tone navigates between fear and hope, represented by a palette that balances deep darkness with glimmers of light. The top half, reflecting fear, embraces a jagged and heavy pattern, while the bottom half showcases hope with irregular, soft noise. The juxtaposition between the sharpness of the dark pixels and the warmth of lighter colors creates an emotional collision, highlighting the struggle between despair and aspiration, encapsulated in the central wave-like formation that suggests rising intensity. Imperfect 'broken pixels' throughout hint at the rough edges of these emotions, while negative space invites contemplation.
