Artist Statement
The emotional tone centers on the dichotomy between trust and suspicion, represented through contrasting patterns of 'flame' and 'ripple.' The palette of black, red, pale blue, and white creates a stark visual separation, symbolizing pressure and release. The main collision occurs centrally, where dense, warm colors (representing suspicion) disrupt cooler, softer tones (symbolizing trust), creating a dynamic interaction that reflects an inner struggle. The layers and broken pixels suggest imperfection in perception, enhancing the abstract nature without adhering to literal forms.
