Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional collage of grief and joy through the use of heavy blue tones on the left, depicting a sense of pressure and density. The right side bursts with warm, open colors of yellow and orange, embodying joy and expansion. The contrast between the muted purples and vibrant warm yellows signifies the battle of emotions. The split vertical layout enhances this dichotomy, while the broken pixel strategy adds an imperfection that resonates with the collisions of feelings implied in the seed.
