Artist Statement
The emotional tone of the artwork explores the tension between control and surrender. The selected palette of soft cyans, muted plums, and rain blues conveys a sense of melancholic wonder, emphasizing quietness against density. The main collision is at the center where the rigid `ring` pattern of control confronts the more freeform `lattice` representing surrender. This interplay suggests a dynamic relationship between structure and fluidity, mirroring the concepts of overfilled centers and boundaries.
