Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the tension between noise and signal. The primary palette of deep navy and black serves as the foundation of density and shadow, representing the overwhelming nature of noise. The accents of bright dim cyan and white are intentionally sparing, creating moments of clarity and pulse, suggesting isolated signals breaking through the static. The spiral layout draws the eye inward, mimicking the effect of signals attempting to concentrate amidst chaos. The collision primarily occurs at the center, where the bright accents disrupt the dense dark surroundings, creating a vivid contrast that speaks to the struggle of clarity against interference. Broken pixels introduce intentional disruptions, symbolizing the fragility of memory and emerging signals amidst overwhelming noise.
