Artist Statement
This artwork embodies the emotional tug-of-war between panic and control. The chosen palette combines sharp electric blue and vibrant lime representing the chaotic pulse of panic, contrasted against the grounding black that symbolizes control. The arrangement creates a jagged rhythm with areas of density (in the corners) that confront the calm central spaces, embodying the tension between order and chaos. The broken pixel element introduces imperfect edges, visually narrating the struggle between coherence and disruption, while ensuring a sense of quiet amidst the pressure of surrounding chaos.
