Artist Statement
This artwork expresses the emotional conflict between fear and hope, using contrasting dark and light colors to illustrate tension. The dark violet and deep black dominate the outer edges, representing fear's encroaching presence, while the soft gold and pale green in the center symbolize the flickers of hope and resilience. The zigzag flow throughout the composition creates a sense of rising tension and disruption. The arrangement of broken pixels interrupts the visual flow, reflecting uncertainty amidst the hope, thus forming a complex relationship between the emotions encapsulated by the seed.
