Artist Statement
This composition embodies the dichotomy between joy and grief. The left side utilizes warm yellows and oranges representing joy's expansive nature, while the right side employs deep blues and muted purples to reflect the weight of grief. The main contrast occurs in the center where bright accent colors clash with somber tones, symbolizing unresolved emotional tension. The patterns echo the seed's essence, creating a fragmented but rhythmic pulse, suggesting the continual push and pull between opposing feelings. Broken pixels are integrated to emphasize imperfection and the fragility of emotion.
