Artist Statement
This artwork explores the emotional dichotomy of vulnerability and strength through a composition that highlights an exposed yet protective structure. The pale blue center symbolizes vulnerability, while the surrounding black and red colors offer strength. The arrangement creates a dense core reminiscent of a small island (strength) amidst a quieter surrounding sea (vulnerability). Contrasting textures echo through patterns, with soft lines of 'pressure_band' breaking into denser 'rain' motifs, illustrating the collision of these themes. This design evokes a sense of dynamic tension, revealing how safety and exposure play against each other.
