Artist Statement
This composition explores the tension between joy and grief through a contrasting palette of warm and cool tones. The joyful yellows and oranges clash with the deep blues and muted purples, creating a visual dialogue of intensity and calmness. The zigzag pattern symbolizes the uncertain path of emotional experience, while the scattered placement disrupts symmetry to represent the chaos within order.
