Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a delicate balancing act between trust and suspicion, represented through contrasting warmth and coldness. The palette, combining warm coral and cold slate, reflects this dichotomy, where coral denotes trust and warmth, while cold slate introduces an element of suspicion and distance. The main contrast occurs in the center, where the two emotions collide, creating a tension that ripples outward. The layout follows an empty room concept, where the inner pattern of shattered trust is framed by a border of suspicion, allowing for a visual narrative of openness yet watched edges. The use of broken pixels symbolizes imperfections in trust, enhancing the narrative of resilience and fragility.
