Artist Statement
The artwork explores the tension between loneliness and connection through warm yellows and oranges juxtaposed against deep blues and muted purples. The inner part symbolizes a 'hole' filled with bursts of warmth (the colors representing connection), creating an emotional pull from the center. The outer regions show chaotic patterns, hinting at isolation. The color density shifts from a vibrant core to more muted surrounds, symbolizing how connections can feel overwhelmed by the vastness of loneliness. The broken pixel edges evoke a sense of imperfection and the complexities of emotional experiences.
