Artist Statement
This composition brings forth the emotional contrast between loneliness and connection. The palette of deep blacks, vibrant lime, electric blue, and magenta creates a juxtaposition of the 'weight' of loneliness against the 'light' of connection. The grid-like layout imbues a sense of isolation, while the lighter colors serve as sparks of connection amidst the darkness. The placement of a single broken pixel introduces imperfection, echoing the theme of broken memories. The primary collision occurs in the center where the vibrant colors converge and interrupt the darkness, suggesting a struggle between emptiness and connection.
