Artist Statement
This piece conveys a tension between crowdedness and spaciousness through a juxtaposition of deep, dark tones and lighter, softer hues. The palette of off-white, dust gray, compressed red, dark navy, and faint peach captures the essence of pressure from dark to light. The main collision occurs at the center, where compressed red meets faint peach, symbolizing a break from pressure to relief. The symmetry of the layout is disrupted by broken pixels, creating an organic feel that reflects confusion and clarity intertwining, resonating with the seed's themes.
