Artist Statement
This piece captures the emotional tension between longing and resolve. The palette, derived from 'gratitude_envy', utilizes rich greens and warm golds to convey a sense of lushness and warmth intertwined with a yearning sensation. The predominant deep olive suggests resolve, forming a strong visual base, while the occasional accents of honey gold introduce a lightness that represents longing. There is a significant contrast where the dense areas of deep olive clash with lighter colors at the borders, suggesting a chaos that interrupts a desired order. Broken pixels are interspersed throughout to mimic emotional scars, enhancing the abstract narrative of resolve amidst longing and incomplete journeys.
