Artist Statement
The artwork embodies the emotional struggle between panic and control, using a stark palette of black, white, and shades of blue to represent the contrasting feelings. The central area uses a split-screen pattern to invoke control, while the edges blur into a crack pattern, representing panic bleeding into the controlled center. The edge style is soft to create a sense of a fading boundary, where the central calm meets the chaotic outside, highlighting this emotional battle.
