Artist Statement
This composition reflects the duality of tenderness and rage, utilizing a palette of deep black and sharp red to evoke strong emotional contrasts. The outer border features jagged, aggressive patterns in black and red representing rage, while the soft, overlapping veils of pale blue and white in the center symbolize tenderness and calm. The contrast is pronounced, focusing on the collision at the center where these feelings intertwine, illustrating the struggle between protection and aggression.
