Artist Statement
The emotional tone oscillates between severity and softness, represented by sharp contrasts and gentle hues. The selected palette of powder pink, warm white, carbon black, steel gray, and sharp crimson reflects the duality of gentle edges against cold boundaries. The main collision occurs in the center where black and crimson disrupt the soft pinks and whites, creating a push and pull of emotions as if caught between hope and restraint. This transformation embodies the seed's essence through layered textures and echoing patterns resembling a spiral, pulling light and dark together.
