Artist Statement
The emotional tone explores the tension between longing and resolve. The palette of moss green and rust reflects both the fragility of longing and the strength of resolve. Distant echoes of bone white create a quiet space contrasting with the deeper colors, while the central collision occurs at the heart of the composition, around the broken pixels which symbolize the imperfections inherent in the struggle between these emotions. The arrangement forms a visual narrative where the longing is depicted by the frame, and the resolve is symbolized through and interrupted by the surrounding ring structure.
