Artist Statement
The emotional tone juxtaposes the feelings of loneliness and connection. The palette of black, red, pale blue, and white creates a tension where warmth (red) collides with coldness (black and pale blue). The main contrast occurs in the left half with fragmented patterns of dots symbolizing loneliness, while the right half utilizes rings of white and red, embodying connection. This duality is emphasized by soft edges and an asymmetrical flow, portraying a 'burst' of emotional intensity from within, echoing the concept of a 'tear' where the hidden struggles of loneliness reveal transient moments of connection.
