Artist Statement
This piece embodies the duality of signal versus noise, where dark tones of dead black and static gray represent the chaos and interference of noise, contrasting sharply with the expressive pops of signal green and hot magenta, symbolizing clarity and vibrancy attempting to break through. The arrangement follows a rising signal flow, with a vertical shift of brighter colors seeping from the bottom to the top, creating a sense of hopeful emergence amidst the disorder. Broken pixels create intentional disruptions to further emphasize the erratic nature of noise, maintaining a dynamic visual tension that reflects the seed's exploration of exposure and memory.
