Artist Statement
This composition visually captures the emotional conflict between panic and control. The left side, embodying panic, utilizes broken dots in a vibrant electric blue and magenta palette which resonate with chaos and energy. The right side contrasts this with tranquil and stable lime and black patterns that suggest control and stability. The split vertical layout emphasizes the dichotomy, while the thin outlines and fragmented colors create an echo of unresolved emotional tension. The negative space sustains a sense of uncertainty, reflecting the emptiness of the 'inside' while the active colors suggest forces orbiting around one another.
