Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional tension between rage and calm using a palette of black, red, pale blue, and white, where the black and red represent the explosive, sharp qualities of rage, while pale blue and white embody the softness and tranquility of calm. The composition features a series of jagged, irregular patterns (representing rage) colliding with subtle, dotted textures (representing calm) that emerge primarily from the center towards the edges, defining the main contrast. This interplay of color and form invokes a feeling of contained explosion and serene expansion, capturing the essence of the seed's emotional oscillation.
