Artist Statement
The emotional tone of this artwork reflects the tension and contrasts of panic and control, achieved through a palette balancing warm tones of burnt orange and dark red against the cooler stability of charcoal and gold. The main collision happens as the vibrant warm colors erupt from a corner, establishing a diagonal rise that fills the space with emotional pressure, while the cooler tones create a counterbalance. The broken pixel strategy introduces elements of imperfection, echoing the inherent instability within control. This abstract pattern evokes a push and pull between chaos and composure.
