Artist Statement
The artwork embodies the tension between restlessness and peace. Utilizing a palette of clean white, ice blue, ink black, violet gray, and warning orange creates a balance of calming and alert colors. The contrast highlights the diagonal argument, with a concentration of darker tones suggesting weight against lighter fields indicating tranquility. The main collision occurs diagonally through the center, where the ice blue and warning orange intermittently clash with black and gray tones, reflecting the dynamic ebb and flow of memory and motion, creating an unfinished narrative. Broken pixels introduce intentional imperfections, echoing the concept of fragmented memories, while avoiding symmetry to further express the theme of tension.
