Artist Statement
The emotional tone is a exploration of 'loneliness' contrasted with 'connection'. The chosen palette revolves around dark and light elements, with red representing the rawness of isolation and pale blue embodying the potential of attachment. The main contrast occurs in the central 4x4 area, which evokes connectivity through clustered pale blue, while the outer layer of black and darker shades signifies isolation and weight. The arrangement of colors creates a rhythmic pulse where the cold, dark exterior meets the faint warmth of the core, symbolically suggesting emergence from isolation into connection. The broken pixels add imperfections that reflect the complexity of human emotions—fragility and resilience intertwined.
