Artist Statement
This artwork conveys the emotional tone of envy versus gratitude by using contrasting colors and patterns, where the top half is filled with a dense, grid-like arrangement of dark colors representing envy, and the bottom half features lighter, more scattered spark-like placements symbolizing gratitude.
