Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional dichotomy between control and surrender, where dense clusters of color represent the pressure of control while softer, more dispersed colors symbolize surrender. The palette includes deep, saturated colors like 'signal green' and 'hot magenta' for impact, contrasting with muted tones that reflect a sense of calmness and space. The main collision occurs in the central area, where the 'broken_dots' pattern of control intersects with the 'thread' pattern of surrender, creating a visual tension that embodies the struggle for balance. This juxtaposition also reflects the seed's themes of overflow and containment through color density and placement.
