Artist Statement
This piece explores the emotional dichotomy of control versus surrender through color and structure. The palette swings between muted shades like 'static_gray' and 'dead_black' (representing control) contrasted with vibrant 'signal_green' and 'hot_magenta' (symbolizing surrender). The dense clusters of darker colors in the left corner represent control, gradually breaking into softer hues and more open spaces on the right, symbolizing release. The interplay of the structured islands and the ripple pattern denotes the collision of these two emotional states, while broken pixel placements suggest interruptions and scars of past experiences. This arrangement expresses a journey of tension and eventual liberation, perfectly reflecting the seed.
