Artist Statement
The composition draws on themes of trust and suspicion, creating an emotional tension where one side exudes warmth and stability while the other invites unease and uncertainty. The warm coral and soft amber hues signify trust, promoting feelings of comfort and steadiness. In contrast, the cold slate and blue-black add a sense of depth and suspicion, symbolizing the complexities of human emotions. The central collision occurs at the diagonal axis, where the clean radial pattern of warmth intermingles with the fractured islands of cooler tones, suggesting a struggle between clarity and uncertainty. The broken pixels represent scars in relationships, embodying moments of doubt yet fostering resilience in the overall design.
