Artist Statement
This artwork captures the essence of conflict and resolution through emotional polarity. The palette, consisting of dark navy and black juxtaposed with luminous dim cyan and white, symbolizes darkness (pressure) emerging into light (release). The top half uses a 'spark' pattern to represent confusion with layered, chaotic color placements, emphasizing collision through the densely packed colors. The bottom half transitions into a 'rain' pattern reflecting clarity, where colors are softer and more spaced out. The contrast occurs prominently along the dividing line, echoing the struggle between chaos and tranquility while intentional broken pixels add an element of imperfection, enhancing the artwork's emotional depth.
