Artist Statement
The emotional tone fluctuates between the rigid confines of control and the liberating essence of surrender. The selected palette embodies resilience through earthy tones - moss green and stone gray resonate with rootedness and strength, while bone white and small gold add a delicate contrast representing fragility and illumination. The main collision occurs at the center, where a dense cluster of darker colors contrasts with the lighter edges, creating a tension that embodies the struggle between weight and lightness. The cascading layout mimics the downpour of feelings as control fights against the urge to let go, with broken pixels introducing imperfection that signifies the vulnerability inherent in surrender.
