Artist Statement
This piece embodies the emotional contrast between emptiness and desire, using a palette of warm and cool tones to create a tension that reflects the struggle of reaching out while feeling confined. The chaotic distribution of colors signifies the desire, represented by vibrant hues like hot coral and blood orange, combating the overwhelming calmness of charcoal and hollow blue that induces a sense of emptiness. The main collision occurs in the center where bright colors clash against the muted fields, intricately laid out in a descending pattern that resembles falling pixels, evoking a sense of both hope and restraint.
