Artist Statement
This composition evokes a pulsating tension through contrast and saturation. The palette combines saturated warm tones (hot coral, blood orange) representing desire with muted fields (dust pink, charcoal) that evoke restraint. The jagged edges create a sense of pressure while negative space is utilized to denote areas of emotional conflict, where desire and restraint collide dramatically in the center of the grid. Thus, the placement of colors mirrors the push and pull described in the seed text.
