Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional contrast between longing and resolve, as represented through a palette of electric blue, lime, and black, which symbolize the pull of desire against the firmness of decision. The dense black forms occupy one diagonal section, symbolizing resolve and strength, while electric blue and lime represent the lighter, more fluid aspects of longing. The color juxtaposition highlights a collision at the center, where both emotions interact, creating tension and depth. Broken pixels have been integrated as intentional disruptions to evoke the journey of navigating between these conflicting feelings.
