Artist Statement
The artwork contrasts themes of control and surrender through a swirling spiral layout that suggests both pressure and release. The palette features warm yellows and oranges that symbolize contained emotion, while deep blues and muted purples evoke a surrendering atmosphere. The dominant color, a rich deep blue, creates a sense of depth and isolation in the center, which is interrupted by bursts of vibrant yellow, reflecting moments of overwhelming brightness amidst a tranquil background.
