Artist Statement
The emotional tone is shaped by the duality of love and betrayal, evoking a push-pull dynamic. The palette features warm tones of pink and red contrasted with deep gray and dark maroon to emphasize the collision of emotions. The top half represents love through a flame-like pattern, expressing warmth and connection, while the bottom half depicts betrayal with dotted patterns, suggesting a fracture in what was once whole. This division creates a visual tension and rhythm as colors interact and collide, embodying the pressure and release inherent in complex emotions.
