Artist Statement
The emotional tone captures the struggle between vulnerability and strength. I utilized a palette of warm and cool shades, including 'hot_coral' and 'hollow_blue', to emphasize the contrast of exposed inner vulnerability against the protective strength represented by darker tones like 'charcoal'. The main collision occurs in the center, where the warm and cool colors intermingle, indicating tension. The pattern incorporates islands of vulnerability surrounded by halos of strength, reflecting the duality suggested by the seed. The layout features a broken frame, symbolizing potential leaks in strength, while negative space permits the presence of emotion to breathe.
