Artist Statement
The emotional tone balances the softness of tenderness against the explosive nature of rage. The color palette utilizes saturated red and pale blue to emphasize this contrast. The black represents the quiet channel, which provides space for reflection and tension release. The pattern interference occurs primarily in the middle where red stripes interrupt the softer blue hues, illustrating a clash of emotions. Aspects of 'pixel bleed' come through broken pixels, adding a sense of imperfection and depth to the overall form.
