Artist Statement
This composition balances the emotional tones of longing and resolve through contrasting patterns. The palette of burnt orange and dark red evokes warmth and intensity, representing longing, while charcoal and gold suggest stability and clarity, embodying resolve. The left side (emotion A) uses a frame-like pattern to create a feeling of enclosure and desire, while the right side (emotion B) features smooth veils overlaid to suggest clarity and firmness.
