Artist Statement
This artwork captures the emotional tension between fear and hope through a split vertical layout. The left side embodies fear with dark, grid-like patterns that create a sense of pressure and confinement, while the right side radiates hope with flowing, flame-like patterns suggesting liberation. The palette of soft gold and pale green offers a glimmer of light against the darker undertones, creating a delicate contrast. The placement of broken pixels introduces imperfection, echoing real-life emotional experiences.
