Artist Statement
The emotional tone is rooted in the struggle between chaos (panic) and stability (control). The palette of lime, electric blue, black, and magenta creates stark contrasts: bright accents against a heavy dark mass. The grid pattern reflects the structured nature of control, while interruptions and burned edges signify fractures of chaos. The zigzag layout and rising flow show a movement toward resolution, even amidst disorder, embodying the complexity of joy and grief. Broken pixels add a sense of imperfection and impermanence.
