Artist Statement
This composition embodies the emotional duality of fear and hope. The chosen palette of dark violet and soft gold represents the struggle between shadows and light—while fear is suggested through the deep, dark hues at the corners, hope emerges from the central area with brighter accents. The layout reflects a mirrored asymmetry, inviting a sense of imbalance, where hope attempts to rise but is met by fear's weight. The broken pixels introduce a sense of imperfection, reinforcing the concept of interrupted flow and the collision of contrasting emotions.
