Artist Statement
This composition explores the emotional conflict between trust and suspicion through the interplay of color and form. The palette, anchored in deep hues of mourning black and deep blue, establishes a foundation of tension, while brighter accents of pale yellow suggest moments of hope and clarity amidst noise. The dominant dark field creates a sense of containment, interrupted by lighter colors that evoke the 'signal' attempting to penetrate the 'noise.' The collision occurs diagonally, creating a shift in emotional weight and visual rhythm, mirroring the rising signal against static, reinforcing the themes of resilience and fragility throughout.
